Terms and conditions agreement for usage of this website

The viewing and/or use of this website and the products, documents, and services offered (collectively referred to as “the Services”) are subject to the terms and conditions listed below. By viewing this web site and/or taking advantage of any services or products offered, you are signifying that you have read these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them. The services provided by this website

The intended purpose of this website is to provide information to students, staff, prospective students and members of the general public who are interested in the activities of the University and/or its affiliates.

The terms ‘Western Orthodox University’, and ‘the University’ are used as a reference for the entire internet web sites: http://www.thedegree.org and https://westernorthodoxuniversity.wordpress.com including linked pages and files, as well as all officers, directors, owners, partners, agents, and employees of The Western Orthodox University, Ltd. The term “services” is used as a reference for all web pages, information, products, documents, and or services provided by The Western Orthodox University, Ltd., in any form whatsoever.

The University has subsidiaries and affiliated legal entities around the world. Sometimes, these companies will be providing the Services to you on behalf of the University itself. You acknowledge and agree that subsidiaries and affiliated legal entities will be entitled to provide the Services to you. You understand that, notwithstanding this, all degrees, diplomas, certificates and other academic awards are conferred by The Western Orthodox University only (and any validating body where applicable) and not by any subsidiary.

If you pay by credit card, you authorize The Western Orthodox University, Ltd., or a designated third party to either electronically debit or draft your bank account for the amount quoted to you when you placed your order.

The University reserves the right to modify this document at any time without notice to you.

Warranties, liability, indemnification

The Western Orthodox University, Ltd. provides all services “as is,” with no warranties whatsoever. All express warranties and all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement of proprietary rights are hereby disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by law.

The University reserves the right to immediately withdraw and revoke academic awards and academic standing from students, enrollees or graduates who are found to have committed any form of misrepresentation of their status, including the integrity of academic work and prior learning and experience.

Dispute resolution

The governing law of any matter involving this website is in accordance with the policies of our webhost, Automattic, Inc.

The governing law of any contract involving The Western Orthodox University, Ltd., is the law of the Commonwealth of Dominica.
