The Very Revd. Professor Dom Daniel Medina OSB(SL) completed a Master of Education in Educational Psychology and Instructional Design at the University of Oklahoma and then a Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry with Distinction at Florida Center for Theological Studies (now part of St Thomas University). He was awarded the degree of Doctor of Education by the Western Orthodox University in 2016. He served as Associate Academic Dean at the FCTS and was then Co-ordinator for Graduate Admissions and Interim Co-ordinator for the Master of Arts (Christian Studies) at Trinity International University, Florida. He has served as adjunct faculty at TIU, Miami Dade College InterAmerican Campus, City College Miami and New Orleans Baptist Seminary (South Florida Campus).
Early in his career he was an award-winning high school teacher of social studies and from 2012 to 2015 he returned to high school teaching at Horeb Christian School. He has also served in Counterintelligence with the United States Army.
Dr Medina was ordained priest in 2014 and in addition to his service as Vicar-General of the Province of the South, USA, for the Apostolic Episcopal Church, serves as a priest in the Anglican Mission of the Americas with licenses from the Diocese of Kibondo of the Province of the Anglican Church of Tanzania and the Diocese of Boga of the Province of the Anglican Church of the Congo. An Anglican Benedictine, he was solemnly professed in the Episcopal Church and is now recognized under the Benedictine foundation of the Abbey-Principality of San Luigi.
He is married to Victoria Sophia and offers ministry from his home in Florida.
